Our member Dimitri Mellos is announcing a new series of weekend-long photography workshops in New York this Fall. A total of 6 workshops will take place, on every weekend from September 7-8 until October 12-13. Participants can choose to attend one or several workshops, or the whole series. Each workshop will include a shooting and an editing/critique component. Participants will have the opportunity to photograph on the streets of New York accompanied by Dimitri, and receive hands-on instruction while photographing. Chuck Patch will participate in the Common Ground: New American Street Photography Exhibition at drkrm in Los Angeles. Common Ground: New American Street Photography will feature the work of 5 contemporary American photographers that are changing the nature of street photography and giving us yet another way to view the world. Our member Dimitri Mellos will be teaching an intensive and intimate street photography shooting workshop in New York City this coming June. Participants will receive guidance and inspiration in producing individual projects, with daily group review and editing sessions.
