This series explores the idea of utopia through photographs depicting events, propaganda, advertisements or artificial environments that have been created to make us feel happy, safe or stimulated. I’ve looked for scenes that feel playful and uplifting but which aren’t always what they seem. The scenes depicted in these images, collected from various locations, are often as misleading as the concept of utopia itself.
