Like so many people around the world, the members of Street Photographers were shocked by the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris. The violence was not only an attack on the murdered individuals; it was also an assault on the right of people to express themselves in a free society. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and the French people.
These photographs, of the recent demonstrations in Paris were taken by Fabio Costa, and we see them as an act of solidarity with those who stand up for tolerance and democracy.
